First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has empowered 250 elderly persons in Nasarawa State with a total of ₦50 million under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
The support was provided through the Elderly Support Scheme, aimed at improving the welfare and quality of life of senior citizens. Each beneficiary received financial assistance to help meet basic needs and ease the challenges of old age.
The First Lady reaffirmed her commitment to caring for the elderly and other vulnerable groups, noting that the initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government to promote inclusive growth and social support across the country.
