The Federal Government has begun high-level diplomatic negotiations to secure the release of a Nigerian C-130 military aircraft and the soldiers currently detained in Burkina Faso.
According to information obtained by The PUNCH, officials in Abuja are ramping up efforts through diplomatic channels after the aircraft was held upon landing in the West African nation. Authorities are reportedly in constant communication with Burkina Faso’s military leadership to resolve the issue peacefully and ensure the safe return of all personnel involved.
