Forgive Me and My Family’ — 2Baba Apologises Amid Marital Controversy

Celebrity Gossip

Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has publicly apologized following a growing controversy surrounding his marriage to Natasha Osawaru.

The dispute began when two of his former managers, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, accused Osawaru of trying to take “full control” of 2Baba’s finances and career during a live broadcast hosted by Daddy Freeze. The situation escalated when 2Baba himself joined the session, insisting his ex-managers stop discussing his private life. The exchange reportedly led to a heated argument between him and Natasha off-camera before the broadcast was abruptly cut.

Tensions rose further when members of 2Baba’s family filed a petition to the Inspector-General of Police, accusing Natasha of assault, bigamy, and financial misconduct. They claimed she physically attacked him in the UK and Abuja and withheld his personal documents, including his passport.

2Baba, however, rejected his family’s account, stating their efforts to “save” him were causing more harm and unfairly tarnishing Natasha’s reputation. He also disclosed that his wife had received death threats.

At a recent public event, the 50-year-old singer addressed the situation, apologizing for the unwanted drama. “I must say that I don provide too much entertainment. Please do not be angry at me again. Please forgive me and my family,” he said, urging the controversy to end.
