Kaka Igbokwe, former manager of music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has confirmed the authenticity of an old viral video showing the singer being arrested in London.
Igbokwe, who is also the son of late music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe, stated that the incident occurred after a heated confrontation between 2Baba and his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
According to him, the altercation escalated in public, drawing the attention of bystanders who alerted authorities. The situation reportedly spiralled to the point where law enforcement had to intervene, leading to 2Baba’s brief arrest.
The resurfaced footage had sparked confusion online, with many questioning its timeline and authenticity. Igbokwe’s confirmation now sheds light on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Neither 2Baba nor Natasha has publicly addressed the latest wave of reactions triggered by the video’s re-emergence.
