
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has recorded a major breakthrough in its fight against illicit drug trafficking with the arrest of a suspected drug kingpin, Frank Ibemesi, popularly known as Chisco Bee.Ibemesi was apprehended after several weeks of intense surveillance on his movements and criminal network.
According to the NDLEA, the suspect had long been on their watchlist over his alleged involvement in distributing large quantities of illegal drugs across several states.During the coordinated operation in Osun State, NDLEA operatives uncovered and seized more than 14,000 kilograms of skunk, one of the largest single drug seizures in the state in recent years.

The massive haul was traced back to the suspect’s warehouse and storage points.NDLEA officials described the arrest as a significant blow to drug trafficking operations in the region, adding that investigations are currently ongoing to uncover additional accomplices and dismantle the wider network.
The agency also reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing drug traffickers nationwide and ensuring that those fueling the illegal drug market face the full weight of the law.
