Drug Party: NDLEA Files Forfeiture Suit Against Pretty Mike’s Nightclub

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has filed a forfeiture case against a Lagos nightclub owned by popular socialite, Mike Nwogu, widely known as Pretty Mike.According to the agency’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (retd.), the legal action followed an intelligence-led operation that linked the club to a recent drug-related party in Lagos.Marwa revealed that the NDLEA initiated the forfeiture process after evidence gathered during investigations allegedly connected the establishment to illicit drug activities.

He emphasized that the agency would not hesitate to go after any property or individual found to be aiding or abetting the drug trade, regardless of social status.“The NDLEA remains committed to dismantling all drug networks and ensuring that proceeds of crime are not used to fund criminal lifestyles,” Marwa stated.

The case, now before a Federal High Court in Lagos, seeks to permanently seize the property pending the outcome of the investigation.Pretty Mike, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and controversial public appearances, is yet to comment on the development.
