A Magistrate Court sitting in Kano State has ordered two well-known TikTok personalities, Idris Mai Wushirya and Basira Yar Guda, to tie the knot within 60 days. The unusual order followed a case brought before the court after the duo’s series of viral TikTok videos sparked widespread speculation about their relationship, drawing both public criticism and admiration online.During proceedings,

the magistrate noted that their online displays had “crossed social and cultural boundaries,” prompting community elders to petition the court. In response, the court ruled that the pair must formalize their relationship through marriage within two months or face possible legal consequences.

The ruling has generated mixed reactions across social media, with some users praising the decision as upholding cultural values, while others criticized it as an overreach into personal freedom.Neither Mai Wushirya nor Yar Guda has publicly commented on the court’s directive.
