The Federal Government has revealed plans to secure more than $400 million in fresh investment commitments aimed at boosting Nigeria’s renewable energy manufacturing value chain.According to officials, the agreements are expected to be finalised within the next two days as part of ongoing efforts to expand access to clean energy, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and promote local production of renewable energy components.

The government said the new investments would accelerate the country’s transition to sustainable energy sources while creating jobs and strengthening local capacity in solar, wind, and other renewable technologies.
