The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as its sole candidates for the 2027 general elections.The endorsement was announced on Sunday during a stakeholders’ meeting of the party held in Asaba, where party leaders, chieftains, and members unanimously declared their support for the duo.
Speaking after the endorsement, a senior party leader said the decision was based on President Tinubu’s ongoing reforms aimed at stabilizing the nation’s economy and Governor Oborevwori’s developmental strides in Delta State.
The APC leadership emphasized unity and loyalty among members, urging them to work collectively towards ensuring victory for the party at all levels in the forthcoming polls.The resolution marks the first major political alignment in Delta State ahead of the 2027 elections.
