The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has confirmed that passenger train operations on the Abuja–Kaduna corridor will resume next week.The service, which has been suspended for weeks due to operational and security concerns, is expected to restart with full passenger capacity and improved safety measures.In a statement, the NRC assured commuters that all necessary checks have been concluded to ensure smooth and secure operations.

It also urged passengers to book tickets early, as demand is expected to be high when services resume.The Abuja–Kaduna rail line remains one of the busiest in the country, serving as a crucial link for thousands of travelers who rely on it for safer and faster movement between the Federal Capital Territory and Kaduna State.
