A political group, operating under the banner of the Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG), has announced the mobilisation of no fewer than 2,000 members to campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The group disclosed this on Friday, stating that the move was part of its strategy to consolidate Tinubu’s support base and ensure his victory for a second term in office.According to the organisers, the mobilisation drive cuts across different states of the federation, with members drawn from various professional, political, and grassroots networks.
The AMG maintained that President Tinubu had demonstrated capacity and commitment to addressing Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges and deserved another term to consolidate on his reforms.They further pledged to intensify sensitisation and engagement campaigns at the community level, aimed at strengthening citizens’ confidence in the administration’s policies and programmes.
