
Police Reject โฆ4m Bribe from Bayelsa Estate Murder SuspectOperatives of Operation Puff Adder of the Bayelsa State Police Command, in collaboration with the Nigerian Immigration Service in Festac Town, Lagos, have turned down a โฆ4 million bribe allegedly offered by a murder suspect.

The suspect, identified as George Idumangi, was apprehended in connection with the killing of Richard Ekpebu, a Bayelsa-based estate agent. According to police sources, Idumangi attempted to induce the officers with the cash in exchange for his freedom, but the offer was rejected.Police authorities confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody and will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa Command, commended the officers for their integrity and urged the public to continue to support security agencies in the fight against crime across the state.
