Award-winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has dismissed viral social media claims that he was assaulted during a recent outing in Warri, Delta State.
Reports circulating online alleged that the music star was slapped while attending an event in the oil-rich city. However, Davido took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday to debunk the rumours, describing them as false and misleading.
“Slapped ke? Nobody fit try am,” he wrote, stressing that no such incident took place.
The singer, who has been in the headlines for his performances and engagements across the country, assured fans that he remains focused on his music and upcoming projects, urging them not to believe baseless rumours.
