South African Head Coach, H.Broos says Nigeria team doesn’t have any Nigerians in it.

While the Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, has players who were born or raised outside of Nigeria, they all have Nigerian heritage and are eligible to represent the country.

Many of these players have dual citizenship, and their choice to play for Nigeria is a personal one, often driven by a strong connection to their Nigerian roots. Football’s international rules allow players to represent a country if they have a passport from that nation and have not played a competitive match for another senior national team.

The Super Eagles’ squad reflects the global nature of football, where players often come from diverse backgrounds. This is not unique to Nigeria; many national teams around the world have players with similar stories.
