‎Urgent Plea to Dangote Group Regarding Road Safety and Driver Regulation

Entertainment

‎We are issuing an urgent call for action to the Dangote Group to address the serious and ongoing issue of road safety involving their trucks and drivers.

In an effort to protect the public from reckless driving, a Dangote truck was recently stopped and parked by the roadside. The driver was found to be unlicensed, a common and dangerous issue that puts our people at risk. The truck and its occupants were held until 9 PM, ensuring the safety of residents returning home.

‎The community believes that Dangote has a critical responsibility to address these issues. As Africa’s wealthiest individual, with a significant portion of his income generated in Edo State, Aliko Dangote must take direct action to prevent further tragedies.

‎The human cost of this negligence is unacceptable. Just yesterday, a Dangote truck claimed the lives of six people.

‎This is not an isolated incident; an 11-month-old case remains unresolved, with a 22-year-old girl still hospitalized and facing massive medical bills after being struck by one of your unlicensed, reckless drivers.
