In a recent operation aimed at combating insecurity, Nigerian troops have arrested a female suspect in Katsina State who was found in possession of military gear and loaded magazines. The arrest took place in the early hours of the morning in Malumfashi town, during a routine checkpoint stop.

According to reports, the suspect was intercepted while attempting to leave the town under suspicious circumstances. Upon searching her belongings, security personnel discovered a military uniform, a tactical jacket, communication devices, and three magazines loaded with ammunition. The discovery of these items has raised serious concerns about potential logistical support for terrorist activities in the region.

The suspect, whose identity has not yet been fully disclosed, is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation. This arrest is part of a broader effort by security forces to disrupt the supply chains of arms and other resources to criminal and terrorist groups operating in Katsina and other parts of northern Nigeria.

The continuous efforts by these forces highlight the importance of vigilance and intelligence in preventing the proliferation of illegal weapons and maintaining public safety.
