Khushboo began her journey on Wednesday, staying at her in-laws’ home in Luni before heading to Ahmedabad for her Thursday flight. Her departure was filled with emotion; she was last pictured posing with her dad outside the airport and also captured in a video making her way inside the airport.
However, just minutes after takeoff, Air India flight AI 171, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, crashed shortly after 1:39 pm. The plane issued a mayday call before crashing into a government hospital hostel in Meghaninagar, Ahmedabad, where it burst into flames.
