President Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially opened the new N16 Arterial Road in the Gishiri area of Abuja on Wednesday.
The newly completed road establishes a crucial connection between Shehu Shagari Way (from Ring Road 1, also known as Nnamdi Azikiwe Way) and Wole Soyinka Way (Arterial Road N20). It also links to other roads within the Katampe District, improving connectivity in the area.
Dignitaries present at the commissioning included FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Minister of State for FCT Mahmoud Mariya, Deputy Senate President Jubril Barau, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, and CGC Nigeria Limited Managing Director Zhonh Xiang.
