Sapphire Egemasi, a Nigerian woman referred to as a “tech queen,” has been arrested by the FBI. She’s accused of involvement in a multimillion-dollar internet fraud and money laundering ring.
Egemasi and her alleged accomplices are in custody in Lexington, Kentucky, where they are awaiting trial and could each receive up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.
