The Ogun State Police Command has assured the public that it is actively working to rescue the wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, who was kidnapped from her residence in Arepo on Friday.The incident occurred when four armed men stormed her home, shooting sporadically before abducting her.Police spokesperson CSP Omolola Odutola confirmed the ongoing rescue operation, stating that the command is committed to ensuring the safe return of Mrs. Odumosu.Meanwhile, the Arepo Community Development Committee has issued a security alert, urging residents to remain vigilant and strengthen security measures within their communities.This incident has highlighted the need for enhanced security measures in the region.
