Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has expressed confidence that the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will ultimately silence critics and secure his re-election bid in 2027.
Matawalle stated that despite what he described as sustained propaganda and criticism from opposition figures, the Tinubu administration has continued to record significant progress across various sectors of the economy and national development.
According to the minister, many of the reforms introduced by the current administration are already yielding positive results, and Nigerians will increasingly appreciate the impact of the government’s policies as more projects and programmes are completed.
He argued that opponents of the administration have focused on spreading negative narratives rather than acknowledging the progress being made, insisting that President Tinubu remains committed to delivering on his campaign promises.
Matawalle further maintained that the administration’s achievements in areas such as infrastructure, security, and economic reforms would serve as the strongest campaign tool ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The minister urged Nigerians to remain patient and continue supporting the government, expressing optimism that the President’s performance in office would convince voters to grant him another term in 2027.
