North Korea has fired what is believed to be a ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan, according to Japan’s Ministry of Defence. The launch, detected on Tuesday, marks the country’s second missile test this month.
Japanese authorities said the missile did not land within Japan’s territorial waters and no damage or injuries were reported. However, the launch has raised fresh security concerns in the region, prompting Tokyo to closely monitor the situation.
