OAP Nedu Wazobia has left the Honest Brunch Podcast after facing sustained criticism from social critic VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The controversy began after Nedu hosted Deeone on the show, where the former Big Brother Naija star alleged that VDM had engaged in same-sex relationships for money.
VDM responded by accusing Nedu of intentionally orchestrating the discussion to target him. He then publicly shared private information Nedu had allegedly confided in him, including details of Nedu’s alleged sexual relationships with various women. VDM challenged Nedu to deny these claims.
Some of the women named by VDM posted videos denying any relationship with Nedu beyond professional interactions.
Amidst the backlash, Nedu announced his departure from the podcast, citing the need to protect his “peace of mind, family, and the integrity of the show.” He released a statement on his social media page confirming his decision.
