“He Never Took Care of Me, But I Won’t Allow Him to Be Buried Beside His Mother” — Toluwanisings’ Grandmother

Celebrity Gossip Trending

The paternal grandmother of late Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings has opened up about their reportedly strained relationship, revealing that the singer rarely maintained contact with her while he was alive.

Speaking during an interview with Dumininu, the elderly woman alleged that Toluwanisings hardly supported her financially and rarely visited her.

According to her, the late singer only sent her ₦10,000 on about three occasions after she complained about his failure to visit or provide financial assistance.

Despite their reportedly distant relationship, the grandmother said she was deeply saddened by his death. However, she has insisted that the late gospel singer should be buried in the house he built rather than beside his late mother.

Her comments have sparked discussions about family relationships, burial arrangements and the importance of maintaining ties with loved ones while they are still alive.

The situation has also drawn attention to the disagreements that can arise among family members over the burial wishes and final resting place of a deceased relative.

What do you think about the grandmother’s position on where Toluwanisings should be buried?
