Social media activist VeryDarkMan has raised an alarm over an alleged ₦96 million fraud involving a senior officer of the Nigeria Customs Service in Abuja.
According to VDM, a man was allegedly defrauded of the huge sum in connection with a transaction involving a Customs officer at the Nigeria Customs Service headquarters in Abuja.
He claimed that the alleged incident took place inside the office of an Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs, raising concerns over the circumstances surrounding the transaction.
VDM shared details of the allegation on social media and called attention to the matter, urging relevant authorities to look into the claims and establish what actually happened.
