A Nigerian woman identified as Sandra Okpara has appealed for help after allegedly making an erroneous bank transfer of ₦1,640,200 to Streams of Joy International, the church led by Pastor Jerry Eze.
In an emotional video circulating online, Sandra introduced herself as a single mother of two who regularly participates in NSPPD prayers and worship services. According to her, she had completed her morning devotion, taken communion, and made her offering before the incident occurred.
Sandra explained that a few hours later, she intended to transfer money to her Zenith Bank account to purchase a voucher. However, she mistakenly sent ₦1,640,200 to Streams of Joy International instead.
While appealing for assistance, she insisted that the money does not belong to her alone and that several people are already demanding their funds from her.
“My name is Sandra Okpara. I am a single mom of two. I believe in God and I have always been praying on NSPPD. I did my service this morning, took my communion, and made my offering. Two or three hours later, I wanted to send money to my Zenith account for a voucher, but I mistakenly transferred ₦1,640,200,” she said.
Sandra further pleaded with anyone who has contacts within Streams of Joy International to help her reach the appropriate authorities, stressing that she is being pressured by those whose money was involved.
The video has since sparked reactions on social media, with many Nigerians sympathizing with her situation and urging the church and relevant financial institutions to assist in resolving the matter if the claim is verified.
