The Northern Youth Council has called for an independent investigation into the death of Mary Habila, insisting that the circumstances surrounding her passing must be thoroughly examined.
In a statement, the group urged the relevant authorities to ensure a transparent and impartial probe, stressing that justice must be served if any wrongdoing is uncovered. The council said an independent investigation would help clear public doubts and strengthen confidence in the outcome of the case.
The youth body also appealed to security agencies to handle the matter professionally and keep the public informed as investigations progress. It emphasized that every Nigerian deserves justice, regardless of their background or status.
