May Yul-Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has approached the Lagos State High Court, seeking an order to shut down several social media accounts she claims have been used to cyberbully, harass, and defame her.

According to court documents, the suit was filed through her lawyers against Yinka Omolola Theisen, Emeka Ugwuonye, Chidi Ozoma, and other unidentified individuals allegedly behind the online attacks.

May is asking the court to issue a perpetual injunction stopping the defendants from publishing or sharing content she describes as defamatory, threatening, or harassing across Facebook, Instagram, X, and other social media platforms. She also wants the court to order the removal of the identified accounts and posts allegedly used to target her.

In addition, she is requesting that social media companies comply with the court by taking down the accounts and providing user information to assist investigations into the alleged cyberbullying. The case is currently before the Lagos State High Court for determination.
