The Nigerian military has intercepted a foreign national allegedly transporting illicit drugs and alcoholic beverages intended for terrorists operating in Borno State.
According to military authorities, the suspect was arrested during a security operation in the state. The seized items were believed to be supplies meant for terrorist groups, with officials saying the interception has disrupted part of their logistics and supply network.
The military said the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to cut off resources that sustain terrorist activities in the North-East.
