
A married woman identified as Oluchi has been arrested after allegedly faking her own kidnapping and demanding a ransom of N50 million from her family.
According to reports, Oluchi was declared missing, prompting concern among her relatives and loved ones. Shortly after her disappearance, her family reportedly began receiving calls demanding a ransom of N50 million for her release.
The incident triggered a police investigation, with security operatives launching efforts to track down the alleged kidnappers and rescue the victim.
However, investigations later revealed that the kidnapping had been staged. Acting on intelligence, operatives traced Oluchi to a hotel in Delta State, where she was allegedly found in the company of her lover.
Authorities disclosed that four suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.
