The Enugu State Police Command has recovered two stolen vehicles and arrested six suspects in a series of intelligence-led operations carried out across the state.
According to the police, the recovered vehicles include a Mitsubishi bus and a Toyota Camry, both of which were earlier reported stolen. The recoveries followed actionable intelligence and sustained surveillance by operatives of the command.
The six suspects were arrested at different locations during coordinated raids, while investigations revealed their alleged involvement in vehicle theft and other related criminal activities. The police said efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the syndicate and recover additional stolen property.
The suspects are currently in custody and will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations. The Enugu State Police Command reaffirmed its commitment to ridding the state of criminal elements and urged residents to continue supporting security agencies with timely and credible information.
