Operatives of the Rivers State Police Command have killed two suspected kidnappers and rescued a female victim during a raid on their hideout in Obio/Akpor.
The police engaged the suspects in a gunfight after tracing their location, successfully neutralizing two of the kidnappers. The operation also led to the safe recovery of the abducted woman, who has been handed over to the authorities for further care.
The command has urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to security agencies to help curb kidnapping in the state.
