A popular hairstylist, identified as Sebastine Timothy, has been shot dead by suspected armed robbers in the Satellite Town area of Lagos State.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred late at night when Timothy was reportedly returning home after closing from work. The assailants, said to be operating on a motorcycle, allegedly accosted him and demanded his valuables.
In the ensuing struggle, the robbers opened fire, hitting Timothy before fleeing the scene. Residents rushed to his aid and took him to a nearby hospital, where he was later confirmed dead.
The tragic incident has thrown the community into mourning, with friends and clients describing the deceased as a hardworking and talented stylist who was loved by many.
Police authorities in the area have launched an investigation and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
