
The Delta State Police Command has successfully rescued a kidnapped woman and apprehended two suspected drug dealers in separate operations conducted across the state.According to a statement issued on Monday by the command’s spokesperson, the rescue operation was carried out after officers received credible intelligence on the victim’s location.

The woman was freed unharmed and has since been reunited with her family.In a separate operation, police operatives arrested two suspected drug peddlers found in possession of substances believed to be Indian hemp and other narcotics. The suspects are currently in custody and undergoing interrogation.

The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, commended the officers for their swift response and reiterated the command’s commitment to ridding the state of criminal activities. He urged residents to continue providing timely information that could assist security agencies in maintaining peace and safety.
