Former Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor (retd), has stated that the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria was never a religious war but rather a war driven by evil intentions against the Nigerian people.Speaking at an event in Abuja, Irabor emphasized that the insurgents had no genuine religious motivation, describing their actions as a distortion of faith to justify violence and destruction.
