The spokesman for the Jigawa State Police Command, DSP Lawan Shiisu, confirmed the incident on Friday. He said officers from the Garki Divisional Police Headquarters rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call from villagers.“On arrival, the body of the 15-year-old was recovered from the pond.
