The Cross River State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Morrison Ogbonna, has been confirmed dead.Ogbonna was reportedly discovered lifeless in his hotel room in Calabar on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
Details surrounding the circumstances of his death remain sketchy as at press time, but security operatives have since cordoned off the area while investigations are underway.
