The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, who was reported missing on Wednesday, September 3, has been located and reunited with his family. Odera is the brother of reality TV stars Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe.
According to a statement from DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, the deputy spokesperson for the Lagos state police, Odera was reported missing after he left his Victoria Island home in his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible on September 1 and did not return. His family filed a missing person report at the Victoria Island Police Division on September 3, 2025.
Acting on actionable intelligence and with public assistance, police traced Odera to the Mile 2 area of Lagos. He was found “hale and hearty, though in a distressed state.” He has since been reunited with his family and is receiving medical care. The police also recovered his father’s vehicle during the investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, praised the swift action of the police operatives and the public for their cooperation, which led to Odera’s discovery. He reassured Lagos residents that the command is dedicated to public safety and urged them to report similar cases promptly.
