Former President Goodluck Jonathan recently visited the Azikel Group’s base and refinery in Gbarain, Bayelsa State, to see the progress firsthand.
He was greeted by the Group President, Dr. Eruani Azibapu, who gave him and his team a tour of the refinery’s ISBL base unit, which is now 90% complete.
Jonathan praised the work being done and inspected the newly acquired helicopters that will be used for project supervision and transporting guests to the site.
Dr. Eruani told the former president that once finished, the Azikel Refinery will play a major role in Nigeria’s energy supply, beginning with Bayelsa State.
