Spice Girls icon Melanie Brown, widely known as Mel B, exchanged vows for the third time with hairstylist Rory McPhee today, July 5, at London’s magnificent St Paul’s Cathedral. The lavish ceremony drew a host of celebrities eager to celebrate with the happy couple.
The 50-year-old pop singer and 37-year-old McPhee, who were long-time friends before their romance blossomed in 2018, got engaged in 2022. This union marks a significant step for Mel B, who had previously declared she would never marry again.
Mel B looked stunning in a dramatic white gown, featuring elegant pearl detailing around the neckline and sheer sleeves. A lengthy veil cascaded over her hair, styled in a sophisticated updo. Among the first high-profile guests to arrive was fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton, accompanied by her husband Jade Jones and their 17-year-old son, Beau.
Reports indicate that the couple’s introduction came through Mel B’s cousin, Christian Cooke, who is a friend of McPhee.
This is the third marriage for the singer. She was previously married to Jimmy Gulzar from 1998 to 2000 and Stephen Belafonte from 2007 to 2018.
Following her divorce from Belafonte, Mel B accused him of abuse and sought a restraining order, allegations which the 50-year-old film producer has vehemently denied. Mel B also has a child with actor Eddie Murphy.
