The Federal Government has announced it will launch an online immigration amnesty portal in July. This initiative will allow foreigners who have overstayed their visas to regularize their stay in Nigeria.
The portal’s activation comes ahead of new, stricter penalties that will be enforced starting August 1st. Foreign nationals with expired visas are encouraged to use this opportunity to legalize their status and avoid stiff fines and other consequences.
