Coca-Cola is making a major investment in Burkina Faso, totaling approximately 60 billion CFA francs, with 25 billion already spent.

The funds are going towards a new, modern Coca-Cola factory being built by local companies on a 6.7-hectare site. Beyond this, Coca-Cola has also donated around 5.3 billion CFA francs to peace initiatives in Burkina Faso in 2023.

Company CEO Caroline Estelle Ouedraogo reports that the project has already created 105 jobs, with expectations of 500-600 direct jobs and 3,000 indirect jobs upon completion.
