This declaration, made on Tuesday, commemorates Good Friday and Easter Monday, significant days in the Christian calendar observing the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, extended his congratulations to Christian citizens across the nation. He encouraged them to contemplate the principles of sacrifice and love demonstrated by Christ during this period.
In a statement released by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the Minister implored Nigerians to utilize the holiday to pray for the peace, unity, and stability of the nation.

Furthermore, he reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, which is focused on fostering national progress.
