A Nigerian woman, Kagbaranee Imeah, who recently accused her husband, Livinus, of assaulting her for wearing a singlet, has now recanted her claims.
In a video posted on social media, Imeah admitted to playing a role in the incident, stating that it stemmed from a disagreement about her attire.
Imeah emphasized that this was an isolated incident and that her husband has been supportive and caring since the altercation. She expressed regret over the public attention the incident garnered and urged individuals to cease any further actions against her husband.
“I don’t regret marrying my husband,” Imeah stated. “He never wanted to harm me, and I don’t want any harm to come to him.” She further emphasized her desire for peace and reconciliation within her marriage.
