The management of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has dismissed claims by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) alleging mass dismissal of workers at the facility.In a statement on Thursday, the company described the report as misleading and unfounded, insisting that no such exercise had taken place within the refinery.
The management explained that the organisation remains committed to maintaining industrial harmony and ensuring the welfare of its employees. It further urged the public to disregard the false claims, stressing that operations at the multi-billion-dollar refinery are running smoothly.Dangote Refinery assured that it continues to provide jobs and contribute significantly to Nigeria’s economic growth, while maintaining cordial relations with relevant unions and stakeholders in the oil and gas sector.
