Vigilantes have reportedly apprehended a notorious criminal known as Precious, who has been terrorizing the area from the Effurun roundabout to the PTI junction.
Precious was caught around 4:30 a.m. on Collins Ologbo Street, opposite Signatures Hotel near the PTI junction, while allegedly cutting iron poles.
In a shocking confession, Precious revealed that many of the individuals posing as mentally unstable people around the Effurun roundabout, on the bridge, and in front of ShopRite are not actually mad. He claimed that many of them are criminals pretending to be insane to survey the area and rob people between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Precious also confessed that this was not his first time committing such crimes in the area. The local vigilantes allegedly administered some “street justice” before handing him over to the police.
