Yola, Adamawa State – Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to advancing education and infrastructure within the state, particularly at Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi.
During a recent courtesy visit by the university’s management team to the Government House in Yola, Governor Fintiri made significant pledges, including comprehensive government backing for the establishment of new Faculties of Medicine and Engineering, alongside a substantial investment in sustainable energy.
Governor Fintiri assured the university leadership that his administration would dedicate the necessary resources to ensure the successful realization of these ambitious academic expansions.

A groundbreaking announcement from the Governor was the plan to implement a five-megawatt solar electricity system at ADSU.
This transformative project, to be funded by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), is specifically designed to address the persistent and debilitating power challenges that have long plagued the university.
