Nigerian businessman Ochacho has sparked reactions with bold claims about his son, young singer Ice King, whom he describes as the future of Afrobeats and one of the greatest superstars on the African continent.
Speaking about his son’s growing music career, Ochacho expressed strong confidence in Ice King’s potential, suggesting that the young artiste is destined for greatness in the entertainment industry.
Ochacho also praised Nigerian music star Davido, claiming that the award-winning singer recognised Ice King’s potential before his success began to unfold. He described Davido as someone with an exceptional ability to foresee what lies ahead for emerging talents.
In another bold claim, Ochacho stated that American rapper Jay-Z had wanted to collaborate with his son but that he turned down the opportunity.
His comments have generated conversations about Ice King’s musical ambitions, the role of parental support in nurturing young talents, and the expectations surrounding the singer’s future in the competitive Afrobeats industry.
While Ochacho remains confident that his son will achieve remarkable success, many will be watching to see how Ice King develops his career and establishes his place in the African and global music scenes.
