A Babalawo has sparked controversy on social media after publicly calling out popular Nigerian content creator, Peller, over an alleged past spiritual arrangement.
In a video circulating online, the native doctor claimed that Peller once visited his shrine, reportedly crying and pleading with him to help him become popular.
According to the Babalawo, he allegedly performed spiritual work for Peller, which he claims contributed to the content creator’s rise to fame.
The native doctor further alleged that after Peller became popular and financially successful, he stopped remembering or contacting him.
He went on to call on Peller to return and “do the right thing,” while issuing a warning that Peller could lose his popularity if he continued to ignore him.
The allegations have generated reactions from social media users, with many expressing surprise and questioning the Babalawo’s claims.
Neither Peller nor his representatives have publicly responded to the allegations at the time of writing.
